Ariana is now building up wonderful relationships with her cousins. Jane is one of her favorites right now. They are just too funny to watch interacting.
Joe gave a beautiful blessing. These are a few things I remember from the blessing:
Alex would gain a strong testimony of the restoration.
He would learn to increase his faith through scripture study.
He would be an example to others.
He will take courage in making right choices.
And he would have the strength to bear up his own and others burdens.
Hearing these blessings always brings me some hope and calmness when thinking of raising my children in such a hurtful world. If I do what is right and teach them what is right, they will have the tools to succeed.Everyone had a wonderful time visiting and holding the baby. We love that everyone took the time out to travel and support our little family. Hailey loved Alex so much she practically horded him from everyone. :)
Potts was able to steal Alex away for a short while and take some beautifully memorable pictures. We are so blessed to have him do this for us for each of our special occasions.
Gammie knit these beautiful booties for him. He is the only baby so far that hasn't found a way to kick them off. We love these special items that we get to keep forever!
Even after the weekend was over we got to keep Grandma and Grandpa around for a few days! The kids loved their extra time with them. We feel so lucky that they could spend a few extra days on this end of their trip before driving back to NY. We never feel like they stay long enough!
