We are always so happy when Grandpa has to bring out a load of bull calves from NY to Montana. It usually means a quick visit and meet up at Reed's Dairy, but this time they got to stick around for a few days. We made the most of it! Got all the stuff ready for baby boy and did an immense amount of yard work.
Don't worry it wasn't all hard work. We played too! We went out to Rigby Lake and played for a good three hours.
The boys played in the sand nearly the whole time. I pretty much had to drag them away when it was time to go.
It was so sweet to watch Grandpa walk around side by side with Ariana to help her climb up the big kids playground. She would not let him out of her sight.Wore the kids out that they ended up taking an equally long nap.
One of the best parts of having Grandma come to town in her amazing cooking. It was so great to have a small break from the kitchen and let her take over a bit. She even made my dessert assignment for game night later that weekend.
We hate that they love so far away, but love that there are so many wonderful excuses for them to come out west!
