There is a wide spread tradition of attending Bannack Days when you live here in Montana. it is a Gold Mining Pioneer ghost town, brought to life one weekend out of every year. (if you can to see more
http://www.bannack.org/bannack_days.htm) we made it just in time to attend. Aj was beyond excited to see real cowboys and go to an entire cowboy town.
There were so many people dressed up and just hanging around the town. It was so cool to see so many people getting behind such a great community activity. A lot of local businesses get involved by setting up booths. Our personal favorite was SweetWater Cafe's fresh lemonade and the Hotel's fried oreos.
There was so much to do. Watching the blacksmith, listening the styled music, candle making, soap making, wagon rides, staged gunfights, and more.

| Aj begged to have his picture with a real cowboy. I went over and asked on of the actors, and all of a sudden there were 3 more people to pose with him. Aj was so excited! |

| Isn't this guy so charming. I loved him! |
We all had a blast, but let me tell you, we really wore our little guys down. We weren't in the car more than 2 minutes before they were completely asleep. We had a lot of fun and can't wait until next year when we can get a little more involved.
