Cali Trip: Part 4 (DisneyLand)

So because we were in the area, and because Shari had promised to go to with Disney with me, and the next day was AJ's birthday we decided to hit up DisneyLand. As I was in line I gave AJ the choice to see Mickey Mouse or Lightning McQueen. He chose Lightning McQueen, so off to California Adventures we headed. It was way less crowded than DisneyLand and had a lot of things that Aj was familiar with. We had an amazing time and were so happy to be there with people who loved us, and loved Disney just as much as us!
Aj thought the shuttle train was the best ride ever...we weren't even in the park yet.
First stop, getting Aj's special birthday pin. Happy Birthday little guy! I am so excited for you to be three! What a year full of exciting surprises for you.

Shari gave Aj his first taste of cotton candy, so it seemed only right that she should give Andy his too.
We got to see the stage show of Aladdin. It was so fun and super cute.
Aj was even pretty good about waiting in the lines. At one point he got a little board so we started making faces...
Here are just a few of our line waiting faces...
In the end Aj's favorite ride was the Mater Tractor Tippin'
Of course we couldn't be in Disney without seeing one of the parades. We knew Aj would enjoy the Pixar Parade the most!
We even convinced Tianna and Ashton to spend part of their honeymoon with us. They must really love me!
We may have stayed out too late. Andy fell asleep and Aj couldn't stand to be on his feet anymore. I guess I will just carry them both. (Nice photo bomb guys!)
Andy loved the firework show at the end (man this family is just full of photo bombers!)
And to top it all off we had to get AJ a special birthday gift from Disney!
Wow, what a trip, now we just have to make it home in one piece. I drove straight to LA from Disney and slept for 3 hours before we had to be back at the airport. it was stressful and very tiring, but we had a wonderful time.
Aj stayed good and busy all the way home.
Joe was there to meet us. We were never so happy to see him!!
