Our stake was able to take part in a cool Christmas tradition around here. It is a journey to Jerusalem, where you walk in and are transported in time to a market near Bethlehem. They have food, crafts and games. They give each person a certain number of tickets to spend at each booth. The boys enjoyed making dreidels, eating flat bread, and making stamped headbands to wear.
After we finished with the activities we were able to see a walk through showing of Christ's birth and the events leading up to it. It was very well done and super enjoyable.
Outside were some fun animals to feed and get pictures with. The kids loved watching the camel.
What a fun tradition. I hope we get to go again. I thought it was a greta way to bring in the Christmas Spirit right after Thanksgiving.
