Rhode Island

After Christmas we were very excited to take a road trip to Rhode Island to visit Keith and Rebecca in their new place. Keith is attending Brown and Rebecca is waiting patiently for their little girl to be born. We took a whole day to get up there and enjoyed a nice warm "Christmas Dinner." They had everything set up for us in the basement. Aj even got his own room with a big bed all to himself.
Providence is lovely. We enjoyed a tour of the school grounds and a few extra fun things around. Rebecca and I wanted to take AJ to the Children's Museum. He had a ball. He was running from place to place trying to see everything he could.

While we enjoyed the museum the boys went off to see a The Hobbit. Joe even got to enjoy the movie a little more than usual. the had these really cool glasses that received transmitted subtitles. This could possibly change our entire movie experience in the future.

Keith and Rebecca were very kind another afternoon and watched AJ while we went out on a date to see Les Miserables. It was a fantastic movie and I am so happy we had a chance to see it! We also did our gift exchange for Christmas while we were there. AJ got his super cute and fun waddle duck that they brought back from their semester in Germany. He loves it. Sometimes I think the stick might be his favorite part though.

We enjoyed many wonderful restaurants in the area. One was a sausage bar for lunch and a fabulous fusion restaurant at night. We sat at the bar and ordered fabulous sausages and pork sandwiches for lunch one day. I think AJ really enjoyed being at the bar with us. All the cooks and waiters were loving his little quirks.
