DisneyWorld Day 5 (back to Magic Kingdom)

I think today was my favorite of all our days so far. We went back to Magic Kingdom for a full day this time. It was nice to just go at our own pace without worrying about shows or parades, because we did all that on Monday.  We wanted to be sure to get on the Peter Pan ride so we headed straight there. It was already quite the wait so we got a fast pass and moved on. AJ saw all the horses on the giant carousel and so we had to go on.
He absolutely loved it. I was surprised he stayed on his own horse. Next we headed over to the new Under the Sea Ride. It is another storyboard one like Peter Pan. It was very cute. They have come a very long way in making rides. I couldn’t believe some of the detail that went into it.

As we were making our way back to Peter Pan we noticed the line for the new “Be Our Guest Restaurant” was starting to curve around the corner. We really wanted to eat there for lunch. It was only 10:00, but the line was getting longer by the second…so we lined up. It was so worth it! The whole thing was breathtaking. I am so happy we took the time to eat there.

The food was so yummy
The ceiling was beautiful
We loved it and were very glad we took the time to enjoy that new addition to the park.
We got out just in time to use our fast pass and go on Peter Pan. It is such a simple, but delightful ride. We even were able to recreate our honeymoon picture (with a few extra people this time).

Of course with a little one you have to go on Dumbo the Flying Elephant. We were very impressed with the new model. It was redone when the new Fantasy Land opened up late last year. Also another must do classic.
I loved the new water feature at the bottom
We were planning on heading home for a nap, but AJ saw the carousel and made me take him on it again. This time he sat on a big horse on the outside so Daddy could take pictures. He still loved it! I kept petting his horse, and kicking his heels. This kid sure does love his animals.
We wanted to get back for an early nap, but sadly we missed the bus and had to wait another 45 minutes for the next one. AJ kept himself entertained completely by running in and out of the line dividers.

Back to the park and ready to run. First off, Tomorrow LandWe were curious about the new Laugh Floor from Monsters Inc. so we went on in. I loved every minute of it. It was so clever and cute. They even used one of Joe’s jokes. While you wait in line you text in your jokes and they put a few in the show. A must do if you are in the area.
Buzz Lightyear came next. Always fun to add a little healthy competition to your day. Next the Tiki room, funnel cake, Haunted Mansion and a jungle cruise. Then finally it was dinner time. We got to eat dinner at the Crystal Palace with Winnie the Pooh and friends. By this point AJ had warmed up to these characters big time. He was no longer scared and jumped out of his seat to meet each one.
Totally pooped out at the end of the day!
It was a magical day. So far we don’t know what we will do with our last day, but I am sure it will be fun and memorable.
