We figured since Joe was officially a man we would hold a mustache party. Jenni (my sister) came into town and did most of the work to help me put the party on. we enjoyed our time with them Friday evening at their hotel where we swam our hearts out. Their hotel had a really fun kiddie area with a slide and water fountain. AJ loved it!
AJ followed his cousins around and wanted to do everything just like them. He even picked up walking consistently with all of them around. I think he didn't want to be left behind. If they sat he sat.
If they stood he stood.
After staying up late with party preperations we woke up early the next morning to get the party rolling. Jenni brought all the decorations. We set up bunting, balloons and followed a fun mustache theme.
| AJ even helped blow up the balloons |
We set up the brunch table. It was filled with bagles, cream cheese, yogurt, granola, fruit toppings, chocolate milk, and grape juice.
| And a strawberry crepe cupcake to start off your morning. |
| Party Favors |
With my parents being in town I couldn't pass up the opportunity to have fun pictures taken. Potts set to work capturing everyone who came. (The prop mustaches are chocolate! can you believe it?)
| AJ really wanted to eat his.... |
| And so he did. |
| Missy (cousin) even dressed accordingly. |
| Kristen and Steven's first official outing with Isaac |
| Luke (Jacqui and Andy's dog) even wanted in on the mustache action. |
So if you haven't heard... My mother is expecting far too many grand children this year. All the women in my family are pregnant.
| Oh, except for me! |
| Payton really wanted to help AJ out. He carried him around like a poor lost kitty. |
After pictures we sat around and relaxed in the beautiful boise weather and watched Joe open his gifts. He even got a box of emergency mustaches. Those may come in handy one day.
Thank you to everyone who came. We had a wonderful day and Joe really appreciates your friendship and support. you are all major blessings in our life!
