Collier Family Reunion 2017: Mt Rushmore

We barely fit, but we are on our way!!! Mt Rushmore, here we come! This Collier Family Reunion is going to be amazing

Day 1: Driving, driving all day long. Luckily the do-dads in our new van kept the kids entertained. Movies, toys, books and coloring kept us all busy. Thank you Sierra for letting us crash you house, hope you slept through out screaming teething baby!

Day 2: More driving, but we made it! The lesson we learned today is, don't put lunch off when you are in the middle of nowhere...you won't get to eat for another 3 hours...but on the bright side, we found a super cute pie shop to enjoy when we finally did stop for lunch.

Day 3: More and more rain all day long! We still had a blast and made the most of it.
Started with family pictures. Plaid all over the place. Who knew a bundle of mix match could end up so cute!
We got to take a tour through the wind caves. It was amazing. A wonderful "indoor" activity for all the rain.
Aj got a bit grumpy and had to take an outdoor time out.
We drove home from the caves through needles highway (AMAZING!!) and climbed on every rock we could find! What a great day!
Day 4: We finally made it to the main attraction! Mt Rushmore did not disappoint. We spent hours hiking and climbing.
We also got to spend some time at the KOA swimming, rock climbing, and mini golfing.
Our evening was filled so many laughs and yummy treats!
The rain can't get us down!!

Day 5:  What a day filled with adventure!! First we hit up cosmos mystery area. What a hoot. I was laughing so hard. If you get a chance go there!
Next we hit up bear country. The boys loved searching for all the animals.
Then it began to rain...again! Mega downpour, but we didn't let it ruin our plans. We headed out on a hike to Sylvin Lake. rocks galore to climb. Every little boys dream!
Day6: Sadly every vacation must come to an end. We remembered last minute to finally take a picture of the infamous "5". They are all growing so fast.
