Andy has had a long time obsession with PJ Masks, a Disney Channel show about 3 kids who wear their pajamas and save the world at night! Naturally, he wanted to have a PJ Masks-themed birthday party.
The kids all came in their jammies, wore masks and played superhero games like "peg the bad guys" and "ninjalino hunt."

| Token bad guys were Joe and Uncle Matt |
We had a great turnout, and Andy and his friends had the time of their lives. We wisely kept the party to two hours, so the parents picked up their little ones before things could devolve into a heroes vs. villains brawl.
Just before we sent the kids home we took a whack at my homemade pinata. I think I may have been a little too heavy on the glue...it took us a while to really break it open!
The highlight of the day was the excellent cake I crafted. The kids weren't impressed, but their parents were!
Happy birthday, kiddo. Here's fingers crossed that you go another year without breaking any bones (any of your own, anyway).
