Book One Graduation: Violin

He did it!! After almost exactly a year AJ has finished Book 1 of his Suzuki Violin. He has worked so hard. His teacher does a graduation concert each May and this year aj got to participate. (it was a bit rushed seeing as we were moving today! And my phone died right as I started to record, but at least we got a few pictures)

Ready to go!

All the students took turn playing in groups. Aj got to play in a smaller group of all the book one students. They played Allegro and Copy Cat.

To finish off the program they started with book 7 and played one song per book as each level joined in. By the end all 62 students were on stage playing the twinkles. It was pretty impressive.

A few days prior to that Aj had his solo recital. He played The Happy Farmer with much vigor (and seriousness)

We are so grateful for Miss AnnaLee and all that she has done to help teach Aj. She sure is wonderful and we are so lucky to have wedged our way into her studio.
