Ariana: 1 Month

WHAT!!! I can't believe Ariana is already a whole month old. A few highlights...

Headed home from the hospital

She surprised us with being so small. Neither of the boys could even wear newborn clothes so we planned on that being the norm. When we brought her home we had to take an emergency trip to buy some sleepers and tiny little outfits. She seemed so tiny!
Almost instantly Aj became her favorite person. He would sing, read and talk with her non stop.

Her first smile was right at him!

She is sleeping about 5 hour stretches at night. She is super mellow and pleasant all the time. We are having a few issues keeping her weight up because she is having some pretty severe acid reflux mixed with a week stomach valve. Hopefully that starts to get better instead of worse. We have had to go in for a few extra appointments to keep an eye on her weight. We will have another one at 6 weeks before we move to make sure she is growing well enough.

Luckily about an hour into it she finally fell asleep and we got a sweet newborn picture to keep forever.

Ariana got to attend church for the first time at 4 weeks. We only stayed for the first hour, but I did enjoy seeing some friends and being spiritually rejuvenated.

Grandma Collier bought Ariana her first Sunday dress. Doesn't she look sweet 

Ariana also got to meet her closest cousin, Clark, for the first time. All evening was spent avoiding eye contact, scratching each others faces and sucking on each others heads. Such love!

One of my favorite things so far is how Jaxon treats her. Every time he comes inside he touches his nose to her and then settles in right next to where ever she is sleeping.

We love our little angel! One month has just flown by way too fast.
