Christmas Prep...

I had a battle within my own head about whether it was worth it to set up all of our Christmas stuff. 1) We are in a small basement apartment. 2) We would be leaving 2 weeks before Christmas. 3) We aren't getting back until 1 week after Christmas... get my point. But with little kids and my excitement we decided to set it all up anyway.
Aj loves putting up the star
look like I will need to make a new stocking next year.
Our annual ornament. (this year we chose BB8 because it was an epic Star Wars year, and Dad because part robot with his implant.)
We actually participated in quite a few Christmas festivities before we left for NY. One of my favorite activities is always attending the 1st Presidency Christmas Devotional. This year was wonderful! I was sad we would be out of town for the MoTab Christmas concert, but this was wonderful all the same.
Another weekend shortly before we headed out we decided to take a stroll through temple square to see the lights and meet my mom for dinner in between her concerts that day, The lights were beautiful and so magical. We also got to enjoy a small peak at the Candy Windows at Nordstroms.
Aj could hardly be bothered to look up. He was too involved in his novel Peter Pan.
We took a dip in the snow, wrote letters to Santa, made some christmas goodies and got ready for our fantastic trip to the Fairbank Farm.
Thanks Grandma for the knit goods. We love them!
Over the country and through the snow to Grandmother's farm we go!
