Fire Station Field Trip

Our Fire Station is awesome. They have open hours for anyone o come in and tour the facilities. Andy's teacher set up a field trip after learning all about everyday heroes. The taught the kids what to do in an emergency. To make sure we have a safety meeting spot and what a fireman looks like when he is all dressed up in his protective gear. Andy was all about the cool stuff they got to wear, but Ariana was terrified once the fireman put on his mask.
After giving a presentation they took us all around the station and showed us their living area. Pretty cool what these resident firefighters do.

 Andy loved crawling in and out of the fire trucks. He even got to handle one of the fire hoses...turned off of course. Poor kid would get blown away if it was on.

 What a cute little crew!

 After the tour and presentation the kids each had to answer one question; "What was your favorite part? Andy's was the fireman's get up and Ariana's was the fire truck. After each kid answered their question they got these fun and cute fire hats. Ariana almost had to sleep with hers. she loved it so much.
