New York City

So, back on Black Friday Joe won a trip to New York City to see Wicked through a website called the Penny Hoarder. Pretty much it was the best and most unreal thing to happen to us this holiday season. We were able to set it up so that we would fly out of Buffalo and leave the boys with Grandma and Grandpa for a special 3 day trip for just the two of us! AMAZING!!!
They flew us first class. Say what?!?!
Only in New York
A suggestion from my parents. The Counter was a big hit. We can't go wrong with a hand crafted burger.
Had to stop at the M&M store to pick up a little surprise for the boys!
Time Square
Rockefeller Center
it was soooooooo cold! We had to shut in early because our faces just couldn't handle it.
nice hot take out to warm up our bellies.
We may or may not have gotten lost on the subway...
Ground Zero
I think one of my favorite parts of being on this trip was getting to attend a session in the New York City Temple. It is so cool how it just pops out of nowhere and it is sparkling clean (even the sidewalk in front of it is spotless.)
A fun experience to remember
using the back picture as my inspiration for my date night look.
Here it comes! The part we have all been waiting for. The Gershwin Theater was just a few blocks from our hotel. We enjoyed some authentic NY pizza and then walked into the theater with high anticipation. let me just say, the show did not disappoint.
Joe got me an early birthday present. I will love this hoodie forever!
We were on the 7th row! AMAZING!
I may have cried a little when the overture started. It was so amazing to be so close to the stage and to be able to enjoy such a quality show. The actors were spectacular. I absolutely adored our Galinda. So much energy. It was a life time memory for sure.
Time to go back to the kiddos at the farm, but let's just say I Heart NY.
