Alex - One Month

Time has slowly gone by as we try to catch our breath and manipulate our life to work with 4 kids. I think this has been the hardest transition, by far. Alex has finally hit his goal weight and we no longer have to go in for weight checks. And because his weight is up we are only getting up one or two times a night to eat instead of 4-5. I am starting to feel like a human again because I am getting a tad bit more sleep each night.
All his siblings love him and try to "help" out where they can. We usually have to put a damper on the fun before they smother their poor brother.
This kid is a sukcer! He sucks on everything. his blanket, his burp cloths. his bink, his bottles, my hair and his fingers.
He doesn't love tummy time, but we still religiously fit it into our schedule every day. His neck is getting so strong. (also, his familial resemblance changes week to week. In this pic he looks like my nephew Tate)
We have a lot of time to be just the three of us. Ariana has been a trooper through it all. Putting up with all the tears from me and the baby.
We are getting there. Finding our groove as a family and learning to compromise where we need to. Love this little man and look forward to watching his personality blossom.
