Spring Break- Seattle WA

I finally got to bring Joe with me on a trip to Seattle. In all the years we have been married he has never been able to come with me to visit Jenni's family. He had to work all week, but we enjoyed evenings and the weekends together.
We loved all the relaxing time we got to spend with Jenni's family. Her kids were all so sweet and helpful with Ariana. However, there were times when she wanted nothing to do with the kids and only wanted to spend time with Cocoa, their bunny.
The mermaid pillow was a big hit too. Jenni knew all the tricks to get Ariana to love her more than anyone else.
Sadie spent every minute she could (sometimes even when she was suppose to be doing something else...) They played, they read, they danced and sang.
Every time we go to Seattle we love to take a traditional costco soda picture with these two crazies. They are growing up way too fast!
One night we all headed out to the mall to kill time while Payton was at his cello lesson and Sadie was at gymnastics. We shopped, snacked and spent endless time in the play zone. We couldn't rip Ariana away from this mountain!

We were so lucky to have super beautiful weather for a day or two. We went out to an amazing park and enjoyed free cones from Dairy Queen to celebrate the first day of Spring!
BEsides all the fun we did take time out for homework, reading and practicing. Frequently our practice sessions would quickly turn in to a performance/talent show. Ariana loved listening to it all.
We convinced Joe and Mark to take work off the last day we were there. Despite the rain we ventured into Downtown Seattle. Took the train, ate amazing yummy food at the market and ended ant the Seattle Center for kids. What an amazing playground!!
So so gross. Check out all this gum... Jenni says this is super clean compared to some weeks. I guess they scrape it off now and again.
The Seattle Center playground was AMAZING!! What a cool place to spend the afternoon.
Before we headed out on Saturday morning we stopped into Jenni's ward party and enjoyed some super yummy bacon and pancakes. The kids got to participate in their first egg hunt of the season.
Thank you Jenni, Mark and kids for an amazing week. We loved every minute of it. The movies, the games, and all the laughs. We can't wait for our trip next year!
