We love our egg hunts at this house. But we can't hide eggs before we dye a few. Thanks Abbie for helping us make up our monster eggs.
We set up one for the kids before conference started. They were beyond excited. We thought we did a pretty decent job hiding them, but the kids found them in no time.
In between conferences we decided to hold our annual Grown Up Egg Hunt. Joe goes wild and hides them absolutely everywhere. It took almost 45 minutes before we found anything.
Aj managed to find one of the hard to find eggs deep inside the wood pile.
Joe even hid an "April Fools" egg up the fire pole. It ended up being a ball and a rock taped up inside a bag.
Micheal found one up the output vent
LaTisha found one in the window well, but made Arabella go down and get it. Turns out it was right next to a dead mouse! Gross.
I found one up on the roof.
The hardest one was 2 feet down in a basketball hoop hook up on the driveway. It was filled with mud and water. it took 3 people to try before someone finally got it out.
When Kristi finally got it out and opened it up it was regretfully filled with canadian pennies.
The last one required a bit of climbing, but Anika worked hard to get it.
Great job everyone! Joe will have to be more creative next year!
