Grocery Store Field Trip

LIke I said earlier, Mrs Bean is the best preschool teacher out there. She plans so many wonderful field trips and this time they got to see the inner-workings of the grocery store.
We had our very own tour guide and got to see all the fancy things that go on behind the scenes. Jeff took us through the pharmacy and talked about the importance of taking medications safely.
He then took the kids through the back warehouse area and showed them the trash compactor and the recycling box compressor. (this was most of the boys' favorite part)
We walked through the freezer and saw hundreds of gallons of ice cream waiting to be sold, and then through the back of the refrigerator where Andy patiently waited to watch someone take the jug of milk right in front of his face.
We had a great tour and now Andy is an expert.
Ariana came along for the ride with her little buddy justin (Kory's little brother)
After all was finished each of the kids had a chance to pick a $2 item and purchase it on their own with little help. Andy did great. He picked out a pez dispenser and got donuts for Ariana and me.
He was so proud of himself.
