Mesa Falls

So, joe's law firm had big plans to go a firm hike out to table rock, but with very little interest or time they decided to scrap the trip. Well, since we already had a babysitter we decided to go out on our own and take a shorted, much easier hike to Mesa Falls. It was perfect. Quiet and cool.

 Jaxon thought he was in heaven. No one else was around, so we let him off his leash to follow us around and do a little exploring on his own. We found a cute little patch on the water front just before the falls that we took a little snack break at.

 What a perfect day to be out with my hubby. We needed this time alone badly. It seemed like our summer just got taken over by trips and activities for the kids that we have't had a lot of time for us. So grateful for thsi short amount of time that we got to be just us.
