Thanksgiving was a big day for us this year! We had quite the surprise on our trip up to Dillon the weekend before.
We were staying at my Doctor and dear friends house when he suggested we go up to the clinic and do an early ultra sound to find out the gender of our baby. It was so fun. so many of my friends are pregnant right now, including my dr's wife. We got to see all three of our babies. Casey told us what we were having and we kept it a secret for a week so we could surprise the family on Thanksgiving!
I was put in charge of the pies so we came up with a clever idea to use pink whipped topping. We waited to serve the pie and then the squealing began. We are having a GIRL!!! Can't wait to have pink, bows, painted nails, and braided hair.
A few days after thanksgiving we had our actual scheduled ultra sound and prayed it was "still a girl". No worries. it was. While in our ultra sound the technician pulled up this picture and Andy cowered into Joe's shoulder. We asked him what was wrong. he was scared that there was a crocodile in Mommy's tummy. (look closely and you might see why he was so afraid!)
Soon after finding out by a second opinion, Joe let me buy a cute frilly outfit. Then Joe went out and got our little baby something special. Her first roses.
We are so excited!
