My sweet little Andy was blessed today by his Father. We had the blessing at Gammie and Potts' house surrounded by friends and family. It was such a blessing to have everyone there. We really missed the few family members who couldn't attend, and wish they could have been there. The blessing was lovely. We are lucky to have a worthy priesthood holder in our home. Joe is such a great dad and gave a wonderful heartfelt blessing. Here are a few things I remember being said.
Be close to Heavenly Father
Thirst for spiritual and secular knowledge
Learn from his immediate and extended family
Always stay connected to his family
Learn to be kind
Be a good example to his friends and those around him
Listen to the promptings of the spirit
Gain a testimony of the Word of Wisdom
Identify and magnify his spiritual, physical and musical talents
What a wonderful blessing. He is my sweet little angel and we are so lucky to have him as part of our family! Thank you to everyone who came. We are blessed to be surrounded by so many wonderful examples. We love you all!
