She is still pretty much immobile. She can occasionally. and accidentally roll over to a different part of the room, but it doesn't seem intentional just yet. Im secretly loving the fact that she doesn't move around yet.
She has found a kindred spirit and best friend in our little puppy. Jaxon takes his guard dog job very seriously. He will sleep by her crib, keep watch out her window, and occasionally play with her.
We have had our fair share of sicknesses in this house the last month, and I know it is all just beginning. Three of us had the yuckies for a good 3 days. Ariana was a good sport, but as sick as can be.
After all the sickies left she seemed to have some residual infection in her eye. We had been meaning to see a specialist about a clogged tear duct so this gave us a great excuse to finally get that done.We are trying a antibiotic and home massage before we head into the options of surgery...we will let you know in another 3 weeks how that works out.
Ariana has been able to, on a few occasions, sit up on her own. Nothing consistent yet, but she sure does enjoy the change of scenery when she can manage to stay up for a bit. We even got to venture out in the bike trailer since her head control was a little bit better now.
She got to experience her first Halloween season! (my favorite, so clearly it will mean a lot to her) We picked pumpkins, carved pumpkins and of course dressed up!
| She joyfully watched while we gutted and carved pumpkins |
| Our little Hermione...she was such a good sport in that wig! |
